Why this site exists
And maybe I just got bored so what
This page is a result of a lot of inspiration I found online and an idea of keeping some sort of a professional/hobby journal. It’s also a result of a strong urge to find structured ways for me to play around with new tech, mainly and specifically AI.
I did have this idea in my mind for a long time and procrastinated on it for a long time too. The last kick or push that I needed was from a masterclass that I attended, taught by Craig Hepburn. After a short conversation, he told me that if I want to look for any sort of a job that doesn’t require technical experience within this new industry, I should immediately start putting my work out there so that people can see how and what I do. This could be in the form of social media, a portfolio, a Substack newsletter, etc.
This is me starting off with my own portfolio website that’s going to be structured around two main areas:
- AI building and everything I do. Around this, tools, products, or any other builds are going to be listed here. This section is also likely to receive a Substack later on, but I will explore that later.
- Events, which should give a glimpse into my career in events and all the activities that I undertake there.
The most important goal for this is for me to explore, enjoy myself, and put myself out there. This is something that I’ve procrastinated on because it does feel like exposing myself in a certain sense. I believe I deal with criticism really well; however, I also have an underlying sense that doing something like this could be awkward or cringe. Nevertheless, I do want to give this a proper shot, as I do enjoy playing with these tools, and this is another project, such as the ones that are going to be presented on this website. Hopefully, you gain some value out of this, and if not, at least have a good time or get inspired. Enjoy.
